  • Barbed wire can be seen throughout San Jose. We thought it was for security, but our tour guide said that they thought it was for decoration when an American sold it to them, so you will find it in lots of places.
  • All of the taxi's in Costa Rica are red. You can find other people offering taxi service, but they are not official Taxis.
